(BANG) - Tom Cruise is addicted to love, according to his 'Collateral' co-star Jamie Foxx.
The Oscar-winning actor claims Tom got engaged to fiance Katie Holmes so quickly because he loves to be in a relationship.
Jamie says the Hollywood heavyweight told him: "I don't like not being in a relationship."
The 'Ray' star also believes people are quick to judge Cruise's whirlwind romance because his life looks too perfect from the outside.
He is quoted by American website MSNBC as saying: "Tom Cruise is like the Michael Jordan of acting. He looks like he has everything - and he does. He has never had a fall. So people are looking for him to trip and fall."
Earlier this week, Cruise was branded "vulgar" by legendary actress Lauren Bacall for apparently using his romance with Katie to promote his latest movie.
The 81-year-old screen icon slammed the 'War of the Worlds' star for gushing about his new relationship in all his promotional interviews, as well as flaunting his new love at premieres.
She fumed to America's prestigious Time magazine: "His whole behaviour is so shocking. It's inappropriate and vulgar and absolutely unacceptable to use your private life to sell anything commercially. I think it's kind of a sickness."

(BANG) - Lindsay Lohan has hired a personal trainer - to put on weight.
Speculation has been mounting in recent months that the sexy actress could be suffering from an eating disorder after she was repeatedly photographed looking stick-thin.
But although Lohan, 19, has always refuted the claims, she has employed a specialist trainer to help her bulk up.
Exercise coach Justin Gelband has put the 'Herbie: Fully Loaded' star on a special diet to restore her sexy curves and the star has purportedly gone up two dress sizes.
She said: "I'm working out with a trainer and eating healthily. I want my boobs back."
Justin also claims the teen star, famed for her love of partying, is planning to ditch her unhealthy habits for good.
He told Britain's More magazine: "Lindsay is very athletic. Exercise and physical activity come very naturally to her.
"In the future she plans to commit herself to a healthier lifestyle."

(BANG) - Brad Pitt and lover Angelina Jolie have enjoyed a romantic break at a swanky desert spa.
The smitten couple reportedly flew to Arizona's tranquil Westin Kierland Resort in the 'Tomb Raider' beauty's private jet.
They are said to have left Angelina's two adopted children, Maddox and baby Zahara, at home so they could spend some quality time together.
An insider at the exclusive retreat told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper the besotted pair enjoyed some spa pampering before retiring to the resort's £1,000-a-night presidential suite.
The source revealed: "They arrived dressed very casually in T-shirts and jeans. They were amazingly relaxed in each other's company.
"After their pampering session they retired to their suite and weren't seen again all night."
The insider added: "The chemistry between them is amazing - they definitely enjoyed having time alone without the kids.
"They stayed one night before heading for Malibu and looked refreshed on check out."
Meanwhile the pair, who started dating after the collapse of Brad's four-and-a-half year marriage to 'Friends' star Jennifer Aniston, are reportedly buying a £6million holiday home in the south of France.

The blonde supermodel, who is married to film director Matthew Vaughn, gave birth to a baby girl yesterday morning (11.11.04) at London’s exclusive Portland Hospital. .
