POST-RACE LIVES
"Everyone thinks I’m a huge jerk" says hot-tempered cellphone-store owner Colin Guinn, 24, who clashed with the other teams – and his girlfriend of 2 years, pharmaceutical representant Christie Woods, 26 – throughout the race. "People feel so bad for me" says Christie. "But people didn’t see the whole story...I’m probably much more of an asshole than Colin.
MILLION DOLLAR DREAMS
"We would give half to the American Cancer Society" says Colin, who has had family members suffer from the disease. "With the other half, we’d probably buy a house."
PROPOSAL PLANS
"We practically are married" says Christie, who has lived with Colin for nearly their entire relationship. But Colin claims he’s between a rock and a hard place. "With someone like Christie, you can’t go to just any store and say, I need a ring" he says. "That’s why there hasn’t been a proposal yet" (Colin proposed live after the race finale aired on TV)
"When we came home from the race, we were kind of sad and depressed" says Christie. "Everything seemed so mundane...You realize that real life is so boring!"
Chip & Kim
POST-RACE LIVES
Chip McAllister, sitcom star? "We have over 20 projects in the works" says Chip, 46. "From travel shows with Kim and me to a sitcom starring me and 2 guys from Big Brother". Though they lost their information technology firm before they joined the Race, Chip and Kim, 44, his wife of nearly 20 years, are back in the business with a new production company, Velocity Entertainment.
MILLION DOLLAR DREAMS
Buy some wheels! "We don’t even have a car right now – we’re borrowing one!" says Chip, whose family of five kids includes kids Elon, 23, Chip Jr, 19 and Kristen, 17. "We’d also invest more money".
LOVE LESSONS
"Watching the race showed me...that I really am married to the perfect husband" says Kim.
Exhibit A: Chip recently treated Kim to a pricey dinner at Morton’s, the Steakhouse – her favorite. "For the first time, I bought a bottle of wine for us" he tells US. "I was trying to be so romantic!"
Brandon & Nicole
POST-RACE LIVES
"I’ve been auditioning" says Nicole O’Brian, 22, who taped a bit part on NBC’S Days of our lives. Beau Brandon Davidson, 25, modeled for a Target catalog.
MILLION DOLLAR DREAMS
"I would pay off my parents house" says Nicole. As for Brandon, "I’d splurge on a car!"
PROPOSAL PLANS
"Still sign of a ring, maybe down the road" says Nicole. Brandon adds: "It’s certainly on our minds, but we’re not rushing things."
"For Nicole birthday in August, I took her to Mexico" says Brandon. "We spent the day on the beach, had a lobster dinner and watched the sunset."
Linda & Karen
POST-RACE LIVES
"The bowling moms strike again! "I finished second in a California state bowling tournament!" says tennis coach Linda Ruiz, 45, who bowled with best pal Karen Heins, 41. Adds Heins "We still exercise together."
MILLION DOLLAR DREAMS
"A new house is first on my list!" says Heins. Ruiz would splurge on a vacation home at Bass Lake, where their families vacation together.

"Nous aurions donné la moitié à la Société américaine du cancer" dit Colin, dont plusieurs membres de la famille ont souffert de cette maladie. "Avec l’autre moitié, nous aurions probablement acheté une maison."
PLAN DE MARIAGE
"Nous sommes pratiquement mariés" dit Christie, qui vit avec Colin depuis presque le début de leur relation. Par contre, Colin répond: "Avec quelqu’un comme Christie, tu ne peux pas aller dans n’importe quel magasin et dire que tu as besoin d’une bague. C’est pourquoi je n’ai pas encore fait ma demande" (Colin a fait sa demande live après que la finale de l’émission ait passée à la télévision)
"Lorsque nous sommes revenues de la course, nous étions tristes et déprimés" dit Christie. "Tout semblait si mondain...Nous avons réalisé que la vraie vie était tellement plate!"

LA VIE APRÈS LA COURSE
Chip McAllister, un comédien? "Nous avons au moins une vingtaine de projets sur lesquels nous travaillons" dit Chip, 46. "D’émissions de voyages avec Kim jusqu’à un sitcom me mettant en vedette avec 2 gars de Big Brother." Malgré le fait qu’ils aient perdu leur compagnie de technologie de l’information juste avant de faire l’émission, Chip and Kim, 44, sa femme depuis 20 ans, sont de retour dans le monde des affaires avec une nouvelle compagnie de production, Velocity Entertainment.

Acheter des roues! "Nous n’avons même pas d’auto – nous en empruntons une!" dit Chip, dont la famille inclus 5 enfants soit Elon, 23, Chip Jr, 19 and Kristen, 17. "Nous voulons aussi investir l’argent".

"Toujours pas de bague,peut être plus tard" dit Nicole. Brandon ajoute "C’est certainement dans nos projets mais nous ne pressons pas les choses."
"Pour la fête de Nicole en août, je l’ai amené au Mexique" dit Brandon. "Nous avons passé la journée sur la plage, mangé un souper de homards et regarder le coucher de soleil"

Les bowling moms font encore parler d’elles! "J’ai fini 2e dans un tournoi en Californie!" dit l’entraîneur de tennis Linda Ruiz, 45, qui joue au bowling avec sa meilleure amie Karen Heins, 41. "Nous nous entraînons encore ensemble" ajoute Heins.
RÊVES DE 1 MILLION
"Une nouvelle maison était la première chose sur ma liste!" dit Heins. Ruiz dépenserais sur un chalet à Bass Lake, où leur famille prennent leur vacances ensemble.
