Hey guys whats up, wow top 22 again.
Well I am so pumped to have the chance to sing on C.I again. Not to many people now a days get second chances but here I am. Lots of people are asking why I would try out again. To be honest, I don't think that Canada got to see what I am really about or what I can offer to this unique show. Well for those of you who are new to the show, let me tell you a little about myself. I have grown up in Abbotsford for most of my life (about 45 min outside of Vancouver) I have been playing music since I can remember.
I started playing guitar when I was 11 years old, my parents bought me a fender Strat, which I still own to this day, and that's when I fell in love with music.
Well the top 22 is really cool group this year. Unlike other years of C.I they allowed us to use instruments for the audition process so it brought out some truly musical people. The first day of auditions I couldn't believe what I was going up against, everybody was unbelievable, and the judges even said it them selves that they were having a hard time cutting people because everyone was doing so good. So needless to say the top 22 will blow your mind this year.
I play in a band called "dimarco" we have been playing for about 4 years, and we have opened for big Canadian acts like Matthew Good, The Trews, Theory of a Deadman, and Default, so I am used to the big stage and playing in front of tons of people so I can take my experience from those kinds of shows and bring it to the C.I stage.
Well I haven't forgotten about any of my fans from last year, so this goes out to you guys, I need you more then ever this year, let's prove to people that Greg's fan clubs are the biggest and the most hardcore fans that C.I has ever seen. Peace out
