"I've thought about this for a couple of weeks.  I just couldn't see why they were hyping Kellie so much, and then it dawned on me.  When they saw a blonde country singer they all started drooling over the $$$$ she would bring them.  Since Carrie is such a success and has brought them so much money, they thought if they had another blonde country singer, the process would repeat itself.  What they didn't realize, since admittedly none of them know country music, is that it takes more than blonde hair and a twang to be a successful country singer. Carrie has the ability to do crossover music, which attracts more than just country fans.  Kellie would never be able to do that. She has shown it several times on the show.  Take her out of country music and she's lost.  I think as the show has progressed, maybe they're starting to see the light.  They don't seem quite as enchanted with Miz Pickler as they once were.  Maybe common sense is taking over where the $$$$ used to be.  One can only hope."
