Q : I was just wondering if anyone has told u how sexy u are today?
Blake : Yes, because I was just on a photo shoot. It was a bachelor photo shoot for People Magazine and I was donig some sexy poses!
Q : First off u r hot and amazing. Do you feel the final song was unfair for you considering it was a girly song?
Blake: It was definitely not my style and it wouldn't be on my album, but it's a well written song. I knew Jordin would kill it - she can rock a ballad.
Q : What did you whisper to Jordin just before Ryan announced the winner?
Blake: I told her I love her and asked her if she would sing the song with me as a duet if I won.
Q : What were your thoughts when they announced Jordin as the winner? Your face was priceless but cute at the same time!
Blake: I was relieved. I never thought I would get to the finale anyway so for me, second was first.
Q : Did you get to choose the color of car you won on American Idol?
Blake : They showed a red and a blue, but I think we could pick whatever color we want. I really like white. I'm not really sure yet.
Q : Are you single? I'm moving to seattle soon. *wink*
Blake: I am single and enjoying my career right now. I was in a long relationship before Idol, but now it's all about focusing on my career.
Q : How did you discover your beat-boxing talent and practice it?
Blake : I've done it my whole life through impersonations. My senior year at high school, I saw someone do it and have been doing it every day since.
Q : What is your reaction to your huge fan base, including The Blaker Girls?
Blake: I love it! I'm very happy about it & hope it continues throughout my career. My fans have been fantastic this year and I appreciate them.
Q : What motivates your clothing style choices and why mainly argyle?
Blake : I haven't worn that much argyle! I like bright, spunky colors. It depends on the mood style of the day, but I like variety & vintage stuff.
Q : I've always liked the tattoo on your right arm. What inspired that?
Blake : It is a Japanese cherry blossom. I added the roots as a reminder to stay rooted & humble, be true to yourself.
Q : What made you decide to dye your hair to its current state of amazingness?
Blake : I change my hair every 2 - 6 months. It depends on what I'm feeling at the time, what mood I'm in. I like to keep people on their toes!
Q : Blake u r so talentd! U rockd it w/Doug E Frsh! Any plans 2 do something w/ him again?
Blake : Definitely. Doug E was amazing. It was magic performing with him, he inspires me. It was 1 of the most outstanding memories of this journey.
Q : Are you planning on staying in the Seattle area or are you hooked on the California weather?
Blake : I'm going to be in LA for a while. I do plan on moving home. After playing in Seattle for so long, I could not imagine not being there.
Q : If u were paid enough would u b willing 2 sing at my b-day party?
Blake : That'd be an awesome party! I'm down for anything! I love intimate parties with 20 friends and can't wait to rock a stadium. So, yeah!
Q : If u could choose any band to be the lead singer 4, who would it be?
Blake : Oh man! My own band. OK. Ariswakadoria. They are my good friends out of Seattle. It's grove jazz with a jammy feel. Good up tempo stuff.
