Oh my, for a good laugh, regardez ce vidéo, ça vaut la peine !!!  Ce «Cookie» a vraiment tous les talents et l'oscar, qu'il rêve d'avoir un jour, pourrait bien se concrétiser, car il est vraiment un bon acteur !!!  C'est court, mais ça vaut le détour !!!

Voici un petit article complémentaire Online de "OK! Magazine" dont j'ai mis l'article hier !!!  On y apprend, entre autres, un fait intéressant, soit que «David» va travailler avec «Raine Maida» de "Our Lady Peace" sur son album !!!  Lui qui a toujours été un très grand fan de ce band, c'est tout un privilège !!!


Autre fait intéressant, mais étrange, il ne semble pas que son album "Analog Heart" soit remis sur le marché, sauf que peut-être quelques chansons pourraient être ajoutées au nouvel album si ça "fitte" avec le reste !!!  Pourtant, en signant avec RCA, c'est désormais RCA qui détient les droits sur cet album, puisque que c'était un album indépendant "Indie", et ils savent pourtant très bien qu'il y aurait beaucoup d'argent à faire avec cet album, car la demande est là et qu'il était no. 1 sur Amazon avant qu'ils le retirent !!!  Bref, c'est sûrement juste une question de marketing, créer la demande encore plus et pour ne pas nuire aux ventes du prochain album qui seront encore plus fortes !!!  Dommage, cependant, pour le grand nombre de gens qui ne pourront pas découvrir cet excellent album !!!

Voici un archive vidéo très intéressant de «David» performant "Singin' in the Rain" at «Blue Springs South High School» en 2001.  C'est dommage que cela ait été filmé de si loin de la scène, mais ma foi, on peut quand même voir son grand sens artistique de la comédie et surtout, son "goofy side" !!!  Wow, je ne sais pas comment il a fait pour ne pas se casser la margoulette !!!  Il a vraiment tous les talents !!!

As if that David Archuleta cover of "Imagine" wasn't enough of a rusty knife in the zombie John Lennon's eye, Billboard is now reporting that newly minted Idol champ, David Cook, is poised to set a record on the Billboard chart not matched since the Beatles.

Cook is expected to have a whopping 11 singles debut on the Hot 100 and 14 on the Hot Digital Songs chart, says Billboard. According to the trade mag, that steaming pile of Daughtry-fried karaoke is the largest collection of singles by one artist to simultaneously make the chart since April 11, 1964, when the Beatles had 14 songs on the Hot 100.

Mind you, the American Idol puppetmasters have kept their songs from charting until this week, says Billboard. According to the mag, iTunes hasn't reported sales of Idol songs to Billboard, as part of an agreement with Idol producers.

In any case, Cook's Idol-winner single, "The Time of My Life" (Geez, Clive. We got the idea after "A Moment Like This." Can the awesome feelings of winning Idol only be represented in power-ballad form?) is the highest charting of his haul. The track is at No. 3 on the Hot 100.

Runner-up Archuleta is doing his scary stage-daddy proud, with three songs charting between the Hot 100 and the Hot Digital Song countdowns. His take on "Imagine" is the No. 16 Hot Digital Song.

Voici un article très intéressant à lire, écrit par un de ses "amis" qui, le 12 mai 2007, offrait à «David» d'ouvrir le "show" d'un "band" qu'il s'occupait, à l'époque, dans un petit bar de «Tulsa» , où il y avait à peine 6 ou 7 personnes intéressées à écouter «David» !!!  Ce témoignage nous dépeint exactement le «David» qu'on a appris à connaître à «AI», avec tout son humilité, malgré son énorme talent !!!

Voici un autre EXCELLENT article très bien écrit par «Erika Blake» de "Entertainnment Hotline" et qui rejoint exactement ma pensée et ce que je dis depuis longtemps sur «David Cook» !!!


Il y a cependant une petite erreur, lorsqu'elle parle de son album "Analog Heart", où elle dit 8 chansons, alors qu'il y en a 10 !!!  Je vais d'ailleurs vous mettre des liens sur "Youtube", dans un prochain message, de ses 10 chansons de cet album que vous pourrez ainsi écouter !!!  Cela en vaut vraiment la peine pour ceux qui n'ont pas cet album et qui auraient aimé l'avoir !!!  En tout cas, moi je suis bien contente de l'avoir, ainsi que ses 3 albums précédents avec son groupe «Axium» !!!  C'est un vrai bijou... et toutes les 10 chansons sont bonnes et pourraient être facilement des futurs "hits" si cet album était relançé !!!

«Cook» released a solo independent album, "Analog Heart", in 2006, the year he graduated from the college. It was written from 2004 to 2006, and he designed the artwork as well.  The album was chosen as the fourth-best CD released in 2006 by website Music Equals Life.  «Cook» also won the Urban Tulsa Weekly's "Absolute Best of Tulsa" award for "Best Locally Produced, Independent Album" in 2007.  He had completed recording a second album before his appearance on American Idol.  Over the weekend of April 18-20, 2008, "Analog Heart" was listed as the number one album for "Today's Top MP3 Albums" on A-m-a-z-o-n d o t c o m. Soon thereafter, the MP3 was removed from Amazon.

«Cook» n'a pas l'étiquette de "Word Nerd" pour rien, les paroles de ses chansons sont tellement profondes et recherchées !!!  Ses chansons sont poignantes, la voix parfaite, bref, surtout pour un album fait sans aucuns moyens, qu'il a fait tout seul, imaginez maintenant cet album refait avec les moyens d'aujourd'hui, un bon "band", une meilleure qualité sonore et un dégagement de ses "vocals background" !!!  Wow, assez impressionnant !!!  Bref, je trouve que c'est un sacrilège si cet album n'est pas refait et relançé et aussi plate même si quelques-unes de ses chansons se retrouvent sur son nouvel album, car tout le "vibe" de cet album va être brisé !!!

J'aime vraiment toutes les chansons de cet album remarquable, sans exception, et les paroles sont tellement géniales, mais je vais vous indiquer mes préférées !!!

Voici un petit texte amusant qui fait sourire, écrit par une personne sur son "blog", et qui utilise toutes les chansons chantées par «Cook» à «AI», ainsi que quelques passages de ses chansons de son album "Analog Heart", pour ainsi illustrer ses sentiments par rapport au fait que: "I wish I could just quit you" !!!  Disons que ça rejoint sûrement les "feelings" de plusieurs fans de «Cook», moi la première, qui n'arrive pas à accepter le fait de ne plus voir mon «Cookie» chaque semaine à la télé !!!  Ouf, que c'est dur, j'étais rendue complètement "addict" !!!

«Word Nerd 1693» here, moping my way through YADPAI (Yet Another Day Post American Idol).  After the pure exultant adrenalin high that was seeing «David Cook» rightly assume his crown of this year's American Idol, suddenly Tuesdave rolled around - and it wasn't Tuesdave at all, but just another day. Likewise with Results Day, also known as Wednesday.  The world seemed somewhat flat and tepid in colour, rather than being the magic Skittles Rainbow we had come to know, love and lust after over the past however-many weeks we were caught up in our cougar-adoration of His Utterly Hawtness.

I mean, really.  You seduced us with your sweet voice, your CFM eyes, your size 13 boots, your rock-me-gently stance at the microphone - and now we're all reduced to counting down the days til the Tour, til the Album - and resorting to watching daytime television to see your sultry sexhawtface and hear you seduce us all over again singing to us so intimately.

I knew it "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face", when you fixed me with those "Innocent" eyes and said "Hello", that "All I Really Need is You".  And you told me, didn't you, that it was "All Right Now" and we could be "Happy Together".  That you'd "Always Be My Baby".  You let me "Dream Big", and become a real Tuesday and Wednes "Day Tripper".  And when you finally utterly seduced me with your "Music of the Night", you showed me how you really are "Hungry Like the Wolf".  You made me "Shout to the Lord", cry and squee like a fangirl in your glory.

But then along came a "Little Sparrow" who warned me about "Eleanor Rigby" and "Billie Jean".  And though I pleaded with you to "Don't Stop the Music", it was clear to me that "The World I Know" was going to change.  "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For," you told me.  I threw your "Guitar Hero" and your tighty-whities at you and told you that "I Dare You to Move".  We'd been "Living on a Prayer" long enough, but you're still "My Hero".

Oh, well.  "I'm Alive" despite the heartbreak, lost here in the "Teenage Wasteland" (yea, I know it's "Baba O'Riley". YOU try working that into a sentence).  And I still love you, DC, even though I wish I could just quit you. I read your website, and the scary boards, and the smart boards, and listen to your music, because "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing".  And you've broken American Idol for me like you've broken so many records, because you're one "Sharp Dressed Man" and a "Hero" to boot, and who could there possibly be after you?  But I know one thing: I've had "The Time of My Life" with you.  And I'm so, so glad that "second place has never carried you home - because if you want to know the truth, you make or break my day.  And I wouldn't have it any other way."

The Idol judge has nothing on his boss Nigel Lythgoe, who told OK! that this year’s winner David Cook could be as big as AI alum Daughtry – but only if he gets some personality.

The exec producer also revealed for the first time that the smash hit show had a run-in with the White House earlier this year over the President’s appearance on the Idol Gives Back special!

And he told us about his bizarre plans to turn America second biggest show, So You Think You Can Dance, into a tinned-food drive.

The Idol exec producer said yesterday that both of the finalists, Davids Cook and Archuleta, could have a shot at the big time -- except that they both suffer from a lack of onstage charisma.

Lythgoe said that he thinks 25-year-old Cook, who took the Idol title two weeks ago, could be “enormous for a long time” and even rival the success of fellow rocker Chris Daughtry, who came fourth in the show's fifth season.

“He can certainly sing – and I’d like to see a bit more personality when he’s singing,” he said.

“And that was the only thing that I think our finalists lacked a little bit this year, was more charisma.”

He said that the pair should use the American Idol Live tour this summer, which starts in Glendale Az. on July 1, to learn to put a unique sparkle into their performances.

Nigel, 58, also spilled that during the planning for the second annual Idol Gives Back fundraising special, which aired in April, America’s biggest TV show had a spat with no less a power than the White House!


He said that the show’s producers were so disappointed with President Bush’s efforts to combat the very poverty that the show was trying to relieve that they were embarrassed to have him on their TV show.

But Nigel said that Idol relented under pressure from the Pres's people, and allowed him to speak during the star-studded broadcast.

“The President is always saying ‘I want to be on [Gives Back],” said the Brit.

“We didn't ask the President this year to say anything because we are all a bit embarrassed about him, and the office insisted that, because the [primary] candidates were on it, the President would like to come on and say ‘thank you.’"

So far Nigel says, Idol Gives Back, has raised some $142million for projects in the US and Africa. But that hasn’t stopped him for developing some far more home-grown ways to help the poor.

The exec, who is also on the board of the after-school program LA’s Best, said that he is going to make the studio audience for So You Think You Can Dance donate canned goods for the program in exchange for an admission ticket.

"So if you want a ticket for So You Think You Can Dance, all you have to do is bring a can of fruit or vegetables or something.

"And I'll come and collect it each week and just take it away.

"And how sad is this? How sad is this in Los Angeles. I get angry with it,” he said.

So You Think You Can Dance airs on Fox on Wednesday and Thursdays at 8pm ET/PT.
