The next series of American Idol will be the best ever, according to Simon Cowell.
"The talent is fresher," he told Extra. "This year, for me was about identities. It wasn't enough to say you were a good singer. It was 'you're different, you've got your own identity, you're unique. And it'll be the strongest 12 we've ever had and I've never said that before. This year, genuinely, it's the strongest we've got."
This year's TV talent contest was won by 17-year-old Jordin Sparks. Other Idol successes include Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood.
"The talent this year is as strong as Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood - all of them are very very strong," added Simon. "It's equal between the guys and the girls."
And Simon's fellow judge Paul Abdul was equally enthusiastic about next year's contest.
"I've been telling people that this is a season that no-one's going to want to miss," she said. "There are so many stars that, I think, when you get down to 12 possible contenders for record deals, it's going to be unbelievable."

American Idol JudgesIt's not even December, and American Idol's seventh season is still a month and a half away -- but the hype has already begun. According to an interview with Extra, the American Idol judges - Simon, Paula, and Randy -- are in agreement: This is going to be the BEST SEASON EVER!!
Last year, as you may recall, season six was often slammed by fans and critics as the WORST SEASON EVER. Who could forget Sanjaya? Oh wait, we did. His 15 minutes of fame only lasted 12.5 minutes. But for all of our Sanjaya-bashing, at least he kept things interesting in an otherwise bland and uninspiring year. Seriously, does anyone even care that Jordin Sparks just released her debut album?
FOX, of course, is determined not to repeat last year's mistakes. It probably didn't help things when Simon and Paula slammed Seattle as the worst audition city ever before season six even began. So it makes sense that this year the judges are helping to hype season seven in a more positive and glowing light.
Randy Jackson declared this year's top twelve -- "the best we've ever had." According to Simon, it's "potentially" the best season. He also called it "fresher" and called the contestants "better." Paula is also excited about the upcoming season. There's so many good contestants that Paula claims, "Simon Cowell cannot predict the winner this season."
Randy went out on a limb to offer this prediction: "Somebody with hair will win Idol season seven."

Je suis en amour avec Cardin Lee McKinney. Les chansons sur son Myspace sont super bonne. J'acheterais son album demain matin.

On sait maintenant l'identité de la fameuse "Irish girl" qui avait auditionné pour la 5e saison, mais qui ne pouvait participer car elle n'avait pas son visa. Elle est de retour cette année, et Simon trippe a nouveau sur elle. Il s'agit de Carly Hennessy.
Mais ce qui est étrange, c'est que cette fille a été signé en 2000 par Universal alors qu'elle n'avait que 17 ans et était suposer etre la nouvelle star de l'heure. Ils ont même depenser 2 millions sur son debut album, qui a fini en flop. Vous pouvez d'ailleurs voir le videoclip de son premier single la:

American Idol Season 7 Schedule
American Idol is coming back in just a few weeks and they have begun releasing the scheduling information. Here are the goods:
Televisions # 1 show comes back in a two-night, four-hour event on Tuesday, January 15 and Wednesday, January 16, 2007.
The audition episodes featuring hopefuls from San Diego, Dallas, Omaha, Atlanta, Charleston, Miami and Philadelphia will be shown in one-hour episodes on January 22, 23, 29 and 30, as well as February 5 and 6.
On Tuesday, February 12, 2007 the first episode of the "Hollywood Round," will start with a two-hour episode. A second one-hour Hollywood episode will air the following night, which will give us our Top 24!!!!!
The Top 12 males and Top 12 females will perform in two-hour episodes on Tuesday, February 19 and Wednesday, February 20 - that means that the first results show will be on February 21.
Tuesdays will be for the male performances, Wednesdays for females and eliminations will be on Thursdays until the Top 12 is announced on March 6. Tuesdays will then be for all performances and Wednesdays will be eliminations (starting on March 12).

2 épisodes d'Hollywood dont le premier 2h ???
Enfiiinn ! L'an dernier je crois qu'on a genre eu un ti épisode d'une heure pour Hollywood alors que c'est une des rounds que je préfère... J'espère aussi que cette année ils montreront les auditions de tous les candidats du Top 24 pour éviter les injustices que subissent certains candidats (comme ma Sabrina l'an dernier )
Et surtout, souhaitons nous de pas avoir de Sanjaya ou d'Antonella cette année !

La schedule de cette saison est la même que l'année passée Micka. On doit encore se taper 4 semaines d'auditions poches, pour un mince épisode de 2hrs pour Hollywood.
Et Nigel, a confirmé qu'on ne verrais pas les auditions de tout le top 24...
