Carrie est numero 1 au USA et au Canada avec "Carnival Ride". Elle a vendu 527 000 copies au États-Unis et 17 000 au Canada. Très bon départ.

It has so far spent 61 weeks on the Hot 100 thus far, with a peak position of #8 and a current position at #37 (a climb!). This puts BHC in 4th place for the longest running single ever! LeAnn Rimes currently holds the #1 position with her single "How Do I Live", which charted for 69 weeks.

Il faut qu'elle fasse une tournée seule! Et qu'elle vienne au Canada!

Je peut pas croire qu'apres un premier album qui fait plus de 6 millions de ventes, et un 2e qui démarre à la premiere place et continu sur sa lancé, elle ne peut pas faire une mega-tournée seule.

Je l'ai acheté... Je crois que je m'attendais à plus Je ne l'ai écouté qu'une seule fois et j'ai pas encore envie de le réécouter...

Mis à part bien sûr les chansons "So Small", "Just A Dream", "Wheel of The World" et ma préférée "I Know You Won't" Les autres ne m'ont pas encore impressionnées...

Faut dire que Carnival Ride est plus country et moins pop. Et j'adore ca!

Sony BMG offers DRM free music but only in retail stores It’s no secret that one of the major last bastions of DRM music will finally be giving that up but only to customers who visit a retail store.  Sony BMG will begin offering DRM free music but it must be bought using “album cards” and a new website set up by the company.

Best Buy, Target and Fred’s will be the first to sell the “album cards” which will cost about $12.99.  The cards function a lot like gift cards and must be activated at the store, the code on the card can then be entered at MusicPass.com which will allow the customer to download the album the card was for.

According to USAToday, there will be an initial selection of 37 albums from artists including Alicia Keys, Avril Lavigne, Carrie Underwood, Santana and others.

Each card is good for one download but Sony says there are provisions for backups in case of data loss.

There are three problems I can see with this.  The first is that you must visit a retail store, buy a card good for a single album and go home to download it, this might have been a little easier to swallow if “download kiosks” were provided in the store and second, you must purchase a whole album which, at best, has two or three songs you actually want on it.

And third, how about providing cards that allow you to download $12.99 worth of music and make it your choice of what you want.

Leave it to Sony to even get DRM free music completely wrong.

De mon coté j'était presque décue la première fois que j'ai entendu le 2e album mais depuis je l'aime vraiment beaucoup !!  

Et ce qui est super cest qu'aujourd'hui j'ai pu m'acheter des billets pour aller la voir en spectacle a Ottawa !!!!!

Ha que je suis contente !!!!!      
Et j'ai trop hate !!

Elle va d'ailleurs performer ce soir au Grammy's. Je parierais sur "Before He Cheats" vu qu'elle est nominée pour song of the year. Je vais être au rendez-vous!

Elle n'a pas gagné de Grammy lors du show télévisé, mais elle a quand même gagné Best Female Country Vocal Performance et Best Country Song, pour "Before He Cheats". Bravo a Carrie!

Big congrats goes out to Carrie who has been nominated for two major CMT Music awards yet again this year!! Her "Wasted" video has been nominated for video of the year and then both "Wasted" and "So Small" have been nominated in the female video of the year category!!

Right now on CMT.com, round 1 has started for voting. There are about 8 nominees in each category at this time. The round 1 voting will determine the final 4 nominees. Then once that is done, round 2 of voting will start which is the final round. That round will determine the final winner. So there are two rounds all of Carrie fans need to participate in. Right now round 1 has opened and it lasts from Febuary 5th - Febuary 25th. Be sure to vote for Wasted in the video of the year category and then for presumably So Small in the female video of the year category. That way, Carrie has a chance to win two awards for two different videos.
