Voici les commentaires des juges
Although no single Idol seemed to deliver a clear knockout performance, Aaron Walpole appeared to hold his own in round one as he aptly sang the tune, "Teddy Bear."
"I think you did a pretty good job of not falling into an impression and letting us hear who Aaron was," Gold said.
"I saw Elvis oozing out of your pores," said Farley Flex who liked the performance.
Sass Jordan admitted the singer was beginning to win her over. "You're starting to make a fabulous name for big men everywhere," she said.
Werner, however, had just one word to say: "Next."
Walpole's follow-up song, "Love Me Tender" received a few chuckles from Flex and Jordan, who, nevertheless, appreciated his emotive delivery.
"You know how to milk a dramatic moment," Jordan said.
Werner, on the other hand, was starting to overdose on all that dairy. "It's like all cheese all the time, 24 hours a day, in stereo," he said.
Meanwhile, Suzi Rawn took on Elvis' first No. 1 single, "Heartbreak Hotel" and infused it with her own brand of rock.
Without the accompaniment of heavy guitars, it was Rawn's chance to prove her pipes were up to the king-sized challenge.
"God bless you. That was a good job, man. That was hard to do," said Jordan, who acknowledged the difficulty of singing an Elvis tune "if you're not particularly into it."
But Werner remarked, "You flat out look like you could use a good night's sleep."
Gold, however, sprang to Rawn's defense and said, "You sang that like you had heartbreak. That's what's important."
For her second song, Rawn appeared to strip away the usual edginess in her performances to deliver the ballad, "Can't Help Falling in Love."
Although the judges found her vocals shaky, they were won over by her unique rendition.
"That was very ambitious. That's a very well-known song and you changed the melody and did all sorts of unusual things in it," Jordan said. "That was really kind of cool."
"It's the first time I've seen you be vulnerable and really show your insides," Gold said. "You really came out and you moved me and that was really special."
For Melissa O'Neil, she appeared to fare better with the judges on her second performance as she sang the gospel hymn, "You'll Never Walk Alone."
"That was simple. That was sweet. That was stunning," Jordan said.
"That to me was the first time I've heard you go into a particular range where it was bright and strong and really healthily done," Flex said. "I really enjoyed that."
Werner thought it was "honest and honourable" but quickly added that he hoped she'd sing a lot better next week.
"For me, I like when you're playful. But I really like when you do what you just did," said Gold, who thought O'Neil's first song, "A Little Less Conversation," was "really screechy."
Her initial performance had also prompted Werner to yell: "Kill this next song, please."
"You energized the room, at least," Flex commented.
Sporting a pair of blue Adidas shoes, Rex Goudie gave the classic "Blue Suede Shoes" a modern touch.
Although Werner slugged the singer for choosing "this cheese that doesn't live up to the test of time," he thought the performance was the best he'd seen in the first half of the show.
However, vocals aside, Goudie got slammed for his un-Elvis lack of body movement.
"You're the stiffest man alive. You're like Elvis Pretzel," Flex said. "You've got to be limber, baby. You're so stiff."
Jordan, meanwhile, found the performance quite a snore.
His second song, "If I Can Dream", also failed to impress the judge.
"I thought that was poo, but I really like you," she rhymed off.
Flex also had minor issues with Goudie's vocals but appreciated the passion in his performance.
"You really tried to get into the moment of the song and express the lyrics of the song, which is more important in a lot of cases," he said.
"I think you picked the right song for your voice," Gold said.

well, zack avait mangé du chien enragé pour soupe hier soir
en tout les cas..c'est vrai qu'a un certain moment donné, c'tait un peu plate..mais bon..
Melissa a donné deux solides performances! Je l'adore!
Rex a joué safe..
