Jessica Simpson se raconte



Près de trois mois se sont écoulés depuis son divorce.
La jeune chanteuse et actrice a finalement décidé de se confier à un magazine. On apprend donc par le magazine « W », qui sortira le 17 mars prochain, que cette décision lui a permis d'être plus elle-même.

« Je ne sais pas ce qui m'est arrivé. C'est étrange. Je suis seulement fière de pouvoir penser par moi-même, de vivre. Je ne veux pas décevoir mes admirateurs, ma famille. Mais, lorsque vous réalisez que si vous n'êtes pas heureux, vous ne pouvez rendre personne heureux. »

Elle demeure toutefois vague sur les raisons qui l'ont poussée à prendre cette décision.

Mariah Carey de retour au grand écran



Après un retour dans le monde musical, Mariah Carey veut revenir au grand écran.
Malgré l'énorme échec du film « Glitter », la chanteuse sera à nouveau la vedette d'un film. Il s'agira du film « Tennessee ». Espérons que ce retour au cinéma sera aussi profitable pour elle que son retour musical.

La production et le tournage du film devraient commencer au printemps.

Jessica Simpson Talks About Divorce



Jessica Simpson is finally speaking out about the topics she has kept quiet about for so long: why she asked Nick for a divorce and how she's living her life without him.

If that wasn't enough, Jessica has had a break-up makeover!

The newly single star sports a noticeably more mature look in a four-page photo spread in "W" magazine.

In fact, Jessica tells "W" writer Whitney McNally that she loves being on her own, adding: "I just feel alive. I feel free. I feel like I can do anything and there’s nobody to answer to but myself."

"Either Nick or her parents did everything for her, and just recently, (she) asked for her own checkbook for the first time," senior editor McNally told us. "Jessica seems to be growing up and asserting her independence. Whether it's leaving her husband, buying a house it seems like she doesn't want others controlling her life. She wants to take charge."

Jessica hints that one of her first take-charge decisions was to end her three-year marriage, adding: "I'm just proud of allowing myself to think and to act and to be…when you walk away from something and there’s no gravitational pull, then you know you’re doing the right thing."

And despite tabloid headlines reporting a nasty split, Jessica said not so.

"She told me she still talks to him all the time and considers him one of her best friends," McNally told Access. "And it isn't nearly as vicious as the press made it out to be."

Yet, Jessica and Nick's divorce is prime tabloid fodder.

US Weekly featured their split seven times in three months in their magazine.

And Jessica admits she had to rent 12 different vehicles in one day to avoid the papparrazzi.

She's even hidden in car trunks!

But when asked about the rumor that she had an affair with her "Dukes of Hazzard" co-star, Johnny Knoxville, Jessica wouldn't answer. She only said: "I can't save anything from being talked about."

"Jessica told me you can let chaos consume you and be overwhelmed or just walk with it," McNally told us. "But she's not going to complain about being famous. She'll take it and handle it professionally."
