'Your past has come back to haunt you.'
Mark Burnett's "jaw-dropping twist of all twists" ; the "Curse of the Pearl Islands" apparently phases in next week in the first of a two part mini drama. spoiler

Previews for Episode 7 seem to confirm information obtained several weeks ago (Accidental Tourist ... Snuffing Out Rumors of a Resurrection) about the mid-season twist that Mark Burnett has been hawking on radio interviews.
All signs are pointing to previously booted players coming back into the game to compete against Morgan and Drake under a wine-colored tribe.
It's unclear at this point how many will come back and over what duration, but we're told to keep an eye on an older woman, a black haired man, and another woman. We heard that one of the challenges involves an escape from a corral like structure and will involve knots, likely the one shown above.
Apparently the older woman goes on to win another challenge later on that involves swinging bridges, canoe racing, diving for items and racing back.
Now the big question is, if players are coming back in, how will current players exit the contest at a rate that still fits everything in the 39 day schedule?
In order for this to work, players currently in the game would have to be screwed in some replacement manner without having been voted out at tribal council; certainly a first in Survivor!
Either that or another bizarro explanation, or tribal councils on turbo. But as Survivor history shows, twists that are too complicated to be explained in less than three sentences are not likely to make the cut.
I wonder if a certain player doesn't give up entirely and for real this time. That's so Big Brother.
We may have more to report on this in the days ahead if we manage to kick over a few more rocks (and lose that guilty feeling of giving the folks at CBS more ulcers), so stay tuned and beware of pirates in these waters.

Et si c'était Richard..le premier gagnant de BB1 ?
J'aimerais cela le revoir!

pirated from survivor phoenix:
TDT and Survivor Phoenix have learned that the Ghost Tribe will only get one chance to bring players back into the game.
As we reported earlier (see All Booted Players on Ghost Tribe), all of the players previously voted out of Survivor Pearl Islands will return to compete against the Drake and Morgan tribes for a chance to get back in the hunt for the $1 million bounty.
As initially reported (see Ghost Tribe Competes), should the Ghost Tribe win, Drake and Morgan will have to vote out a player each. Since we have various spoilers of returning players, it is most likely that we will indeed see a Ghost Tribe win on Thursday.
We have also learned that if it wins the mega challenge, the Ghost Tribe will then vote 2 people back in to replace the newly booted players and that individual players cannot vote for themselves. With the Ghost Tribe comprised of an equal number of ex-Drakes and ex-Morgans, it is probable that the returning players will feature one from each tribe. Descrptions by various spoilers of returning players were said to fit best Lillian and Burton.
Thursday's 3 tribe mega-challenge features an escape-type challenge, as initially reported by Griffe in a post at Sucks. The challenge involves a race to free tribe mates from a series of enclosures, in a challenge reminiscent both of Thailand and Amazon. Run, dig under, crawl, untie, pull, dig, reach for key, unchain, win.
The previews for Episode 7 feature Jeff Probst calmly addressing Drake and Morgan players with a simple "Your past is come back to haunt you." Cue to the booted players emerging from the jungle under a purple tribal flag and sporting purple bandanas adorned with a skull & cross-bones logo. Clearly a jaw-dropping moment for the audience, not to mention for the players still in the game. For once, Mark Burnett's pre-season hyperbole does not disappoint.
On another note, good news for Rupertmania. We have reason to believe that Rupert should be around a bit longer. Still developing...

All of the booted players come back as the "purple" tribe.
Some speculation at Sucks is that they will compete in one challenge against Drake and Morgan. Only one team can win, and the ghost tribe does. So, Drake and Morgan have to each vote off a member of their tribe. Then, in the second part, (the next week) the "purple" tribe votes on who among them will get back into the game. This person then joins the merged tribe, named Balboa. The rest of the game will play out as usual.
