Juste pour rire voici un article bien distrayant:
Citation :Faith Hill denies that she was disrespectful when the female vocalist of the year was announced Monday night (Nov. 6) at the 40th annual CMA Awards show in Nashville.
Hill, who was nominated in the category with Sara Evans, Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood and Gretchen Wilson, was shown on a backstage camera at the ABC telecast when newcomer Underwood was announced as the winner. Hill responded with a frown and mouthed "What?!" to the camera and then stormed away.
By Tuesday morning (Nov. 7), a backstage photo of Hill was online on the Drudge Report's home page -- along with a link to a brief story in USA Today. Nationally syndicated radio host Don Imus referred to Hill's reaction during his morning show that is simulcast on MSNBC. Message boards at CMT.com remained active with fans speculating on the reasons for the singer's reaction.
In a press release issued Tuesday morning, Hill's New York-based publicist, Paul Freundlich, offered a written statement from Hill.
"The idea that I would act disrespectful towards a fellow musician is unimaginable to me," Hill said. "For this to become a focus of attention, given the talent gathered, is utterly ridiculous. Carrie is a talented and deserving female vocalist of the year."
Gary Borman, Hill's longtime manager, added that the singer's reaction was meant as a joke.
"I've worked with Faith for many years now, and the idea that she would ever insult or undermine another artist, let alone another human being's success, is absolutely preposterous," Borman said. "Those who know her know that she's incapable of such actions. She was being playful while the nominations were being read and playful after."

Citation :Faith Hill insists her awards show reaction 'a joke'
1.00pm Wednesday November 8, 2006
LOS ANGELES - Recording star Faith Hill has insisted she was just clowning around backstage at the Country Music Association Awards when cameras caught her apparently reacting with angry disbelief as rival Carrie Underwood was named female vocalist of the year.
In a live TV moment replayed repeatedly on the internet the day after Monday's awards, Hill is seen throwing her arms up in mistaken triumph as Underwood's name is read, then shouting, "What!?" directly into the camera as her smile turns to a look of shock.
The three other nominees shown on split screen - Sara Evans, Gretchen Wilson and Martina McBride - were all seen graciously applauding when Underwood, formerly of American Idol fame, was announced as the winner on the ABC telecast.
"The idea that I would act disrespectful toward a fellow musician is unimaginable to me, Hill said in a statement released today.
"For this to become a focus of attention given the talent gathered is utterly ridiculous. Carrie is a talented and deserving Female Vocalist of the Year."
Hill's manager and publicist also issued statements saying that what television audiences saw was a product of playfulness in the company of friends gathered with her backstage, not sour grapes.
"She was just messing around," spokesman Paul Freundlich told Reuters. "She didn't realize that the camera was rolling the whole time. ... She just thought they were doing a shot when they read the nominees off."
He added: "Faith is the most mild mannered, funny and goofy individual you could ever meet."
Manager Gary Borman said he has known Hill, who is married to fellow country star Tim McGraw, for many years and "the idea that she would ever insult or undermine another artist, let alone another human being's success, is absolutely preposterous."
"She was being playful while the nominations were being read, and playful after," he said.

Citation :Pickler meets idols McBride, Mandrell
By BEVERLY KEEL
Newcomer Kellie Pickler has always said that if she ever met Dolly Parton, she hoped it would be in an intimate place because she would "lose it."
So it seemed like a Nashville airport bathroom would be a fitting place for such an encounter. There was a woman who looked just like Dolly, so Kellie tried to stare, without getting caught, to determine if it was actually her.
As she was leaving the bathroom, she thought, "If that's Dolly, I'll never forgive myself for not speaking.' So she approached and said, "I'm not a stalker, but has anyone ever told you that you look like Dolly Parton?"
The woman started laughing and said, "I'm a Dolly Parton impersonator in Vegas, so yes, I'm asked all the time. But you look familiar, too. Are you Kellie Pickler?"
Kellie had better luck at the Sony BMG party after the CMAs, which also attracted her idol, Martina McBride. Kellie has performed several Martina songs over the years, most recently during her "American Idol" tryouts.
"I just have to tell you I'm such a huge fan. I sang your songs," she told her, unable to finish the sentence through her tears. "Oh sweetie," Martina told her, grabbing her hands. After Kellie told her how influential she had been in her life, Martina took her around the party and introduced her to everyone else there. "Oh, you've got to meet Barbara Mandrell!" Martina told her. It was almost too much for Kellie to bear.
