I have crazy awesome fantabulous news that I absolutely wanted to share with you. I will be opening for Beyoncé's western canadian show dates!!! Edmonton, Winipeg, Saskatoon and Vancouver. I will be going to the Junos as well, so you will see me on the red carpet Heehee!! I am so excited, I mean come on, Beyoncé????!?!? Woah. She's one of the most successful female artists in the world right now. I can hardly believe I will be on the same stage as her during the same event!

Apart from this wonderfulness, things are going great. I was just in Montreal for the launch of the ticket sale to a fabulous event called Eyes Wide Open. It is a Geisha themed party-exhibition taking place at the Museum of Montreal. The Cirque du Soleil is involved (I'm a huuuge fan!) and it's to raise money for the up-and-coming artists of the Museum. What a great cause, and I got to hang out with tons of great people

How do you guys like the new video?? I am very happy with it and I hope you guys are as well. Please don't stop requesting the single "Damned" on your local radio stations!!! Eva Avila sera en première partie de Beyoncé Knowles dans l’Ouest canadien.

Dès ce jeudi 26 mars, la chanteuse Eva Avila assurera la première partie du spectacle de Beyoncé à Edmonton, le lendemain à Saskatoon, le 28 à Winnipeg et le 31 mars à Vancouver.

De plus, la jeune chanteuse sera présente au Juno Awards, à Vancouver, le dimanche 29 mars.

Son dernier simple, Damned, tiré de son album Give Me the Music, est dans le top 25 des radios au Canada.

First show!
Hola amigos!!!

Sooo, I'm just quickly dropping in to let you know the first show with Beyoncé went amaaazing! It's always the most challenging one because it's the ice-breaker. It felt so wonderful to play in front of thousands of people in a huge arena. I could feel the excitement and the energy of the crowd and it was simply electrifying. Thank you to those of you who were present, you guys were an awesome audience!

Another fabulous highlight of the night was that I got to meet Beyoncé She is stunningly gorgeous and has an enchanting charisma. She is so poised and graceful. I stayed after my set to watch her entire show, and I was absolutely blown away, wowed, stunned. Her performance was stellar, and I had such a wonderful time just watching her. Triple WOW.

So tonight we're playing in Saskatoon! And tomorrow is Winnipeg!!!! I'm having a blast on the road with my big family, I forgot how much I missed touring!
