So You Think You Can Dance: Top 10 elimination predictions
July 16, 2:42 PM
According to SYTYCDism’s website, voter prediction polls for Thursday night’s bottom three – and remember, it’s now voting for individuals instead of couples – are Randi Evans, with a whopping 80% of the vote. Classical ballerina Melissa Sandvig and Kayla Rodomski also seem vulnerable, with 9% and 6% of the vote, respectively. On the guys’ side, Kupono Aweau leads the elimination predictions with 63% of vote, trailed by Evan Kasprzak (28%) and Jason Glover (4%). When it comes to performances, Jeanine Mason and partner Jason command the polls for best dance of Wednesday night, for their Travis Wall contemporary routine, with 81% of the vote, but its popularity might be enough to save Jason from a bottom three appearance.
Dial Idol’s predictions seem to indicate a totally different result. Based on the busy signal monitoring, Randi and Evan were the two dancers with the greatest number of phone-based activity, and thus, are deemed “safe” by these predictions. Meanwhile, they are predicting that contemporary dancer Kayla Rodomski and Jason Glover will be eliminated on Thursday night’s show, based on the number of busy signals recorded for each dancer.
Over at Entertainment Weekly’s “SYTYCD Prediction Game,” the voter polls seem to align more with SYTYCDism’s than Dial Idol’s. The polls have Randi in the lead for elimination, with a hefty 78% of the vote, following by Kayla, with 9%, and Melissa, with 8%. As far as the guys are concerned, these polls put Kupono in the most danger of elimination, with 68% of the vote, followed by Jason, with 17%, and Evan, with 14%.
Seemingly safe in all three polls is Brandon Bryant, who received 0% in all three prediction analyses, as well as Ade Obayomi, Janette Manrara, and Jeanine Mason, who all received less than 2% of the vote in all three prediction polls.
Based on this data, while it doesn’t look promising for Randi and Kupono, nor does their eliminations look 100% certain.
