CTV's SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA is No.1
once again. The second season debut of the homegrown urban sensation won the
night in Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary Tuesday(*), while winning its timeslot
(8-10 p.m.) nationally as well. Peaking with more than 1.3 million viewers,
the two-hour premiere was watched on average by 1.08 million viewers. Nearly
three million viewers watched some or all of the broadcast.
With 758,000 viewers for a standalone episode of FLASHPOINT at 10 p.m.,
CTV's all-Canadian primetime was unbeatable, with 60% more viewers than any
other network, Canadian or American.(xx)

Featuring highlights from the Toronto auditions, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN
DANCE CANADA won its timeslot by nearly 50% among young viewers A18-34, while
leading the simulcasts of NCIS (Global/CBS) and BIG BROTHER (Global/CBS) by
31% among A18-49, 15% among P2+, and 14% among A25-54.

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA continues tonight on CTV with a
two-hour episode featuring highlights from the Vancouver and Saint John, NB
auditions at 8 p.m. ET (visit ctv.ca to confirm local broadcast times). During
Season 1, no East Coast competitors cracked the Top 20, while BC produced two
of the Top 10 finalists. Only time will tell if the provinces will have a
similar showing this season.
